Our values: having time for yourself
Here at our Prenner Alm we’ve created perfect spots for relaxing, enjoying and coming alive. In spite of the down-to-earth simplicity of the alpine area our cosy chalets offer all modern facilities and the highest standard of comfort for your holiday in summer or winter in the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Since the first “sod was turned“ we’ve been tending our Prenner Alm with all our heart. Stefan loves working with wood and nature. As an experienced carpenter he’s been working passionately since the very beginning of building the alpine chalets. Stefanie is the good soul of the alm. With lots of joy and dedication she takes care of all the finer details. Right from your booking through to your departure your personal requirements are dear to our hearts.
As nature-lovers ourselves we delight in the freedom of the Schladming mountain region every day anew and would like to share this with our guests. We invite you to let time simply stand still and to enjoy nature to the full.
PS: As we appreciate informality here at the alm we are on first name terms with our guests.
See you soon at the Prenner Alm,

Your holiday on the alm
Back to nature, escape your everyday life… How lovely it is to be woken by the warm rays of sun, listen to the birdsong and cow bells, to watch the cows grazing. Traffic noise and everyday stress disappear completely when you see the fascinating view of the imposing peaks in the Schladming mountains. For breakfast there’s hearty alpine cheese bread, fresh regional bacon and a fresh glass of mountain spring water.
Afterwards you can explore the unspoilt landscape whilst hiking, biking and climbing or skiing, cross country skiing and tobogganing on the Hauser Kaibling in the Schladming-Dachstein region. Spend jolly evenings together with the whole family cooking, dining and playing games. Time together is exactly what counts. The small things in life, which often get forgetten in your hectic everyday life, are rekindled by the magic of nature on the alm.
It’s not simple to create something beautiful,
yet simple things are always beautiful.
